No Fishing at the Salton Sea
I have to admit, I wasn’t properly dressed for this adventure to the Salton Sea. I was wearing black boots with tall heels, a green pair of pants with gold stars and my signature black turtleneck. At the time, this felt like my power outfit. It got me out of my slouchy comfort zone and into more of my personal style. It didn’t matter what I was wearing, though. I wasn’t missing out on this grand adventure.

This trip was similar to those road tips you have on your bucket list. Just a bunch of friends loaded up in the car with a great playlist and a list of places to stop along the way. We definitely set the tone of the year. So much so, that we all decided we would end up back in Califonia at one point or another. Before this, we spent the night at Joshua Tree had breakfast at the Ace Hotel in Palm Springs made our way to the Salton Sea and then ended up at Salvation Mountain. Each city and location were an adventure on its own.
Califonia is truly a great place to explore even in the middle of January. Being from Texas this was a nice change.
Welcome to the Salton Sea
