Maybe It’s the 80’s

Alright, you caught me it’s really not the 80’s.  The only thing you got is an 80’s baby (me), the gold star suit and the fact that all these photos were captured with film.  So we can pretend, right?

80’s party?

You better believe that I would be the first one to RSVP. I’d go all out, with the big hair and shoulder pads… I mean come on, they really bring an outfit together. The funny thing is, I would look completely different than all the other party goers. What’s the deal with all the neon? “Ugh, gag me with a spoon.” I seriously doubt that my mom rocked the neon leggings and a scrunchie look.

Well, the truth is, I don’t even know the age of this suit. It’s probably just from the 90’s and no one told me. Oh, well. You probably wouldn’t even believe these are the same pants I wore at the Salton Sea and the same top from Yesterday Tomorrow. When you have a small wardrobe you learn very quickly how to mix and match. It’s all about that personal style.

The suit is a hunter or forest green (not a Pantone expert) with little gold stars. The top has false pockets with brass adornments. The only thing that would make this suit any better is if the pants had pockets. You know the feeling you get when you find out there are pockets? I need that feeling.
